On the site of an old orchard in the popular village of Beadnell on Northumberland's outstandingly beautiful Heritage Coast The Orchards apartments offer the ideal romantic retreat for discerning couples who appreciate a touch of luxury within walking distance of fabulous sandy beaches and welcoming inns. Here a visit to the contemporary Water Gardens – complete with a restaurant in the world's largest tree house – is a must.
There are two pubs serving food and a village store/post office in Beadnell whilst a greater selection of shops and places to eat can be found in Seahouses which also boasts an attractive working harbour from where boat trips depart (in season) for the fascinating bird and seal colonies on the Farne Islands.
