Cumbria is a beautiful area of the UK so where better to head for a relaxing cottage holiday. For a party of 8 you might like to stay in Jasmine Cottage near Alston in Cumbria which overlooks a river and a lake. In terms of setting this cottage is hard to beat. Our other favourite cottage in the Cumbria region include Ousby Chapel which is a cottage break with a difference, as well as Coombs View Cottages in the pretty Eden Valley.
Meadow View Cottage makes a perfect Cumbria base and is just a 5 minute stroll from the beach. You can take advantage of the amanities at a local holiday park, or why not head into the lovely harbour town of Whitehaven and explore. Keswick is just 35 miles away.
This old textile mill converion makes a unqiue cottage break located on the riverbank. This well designed apartment would suit parties of up to 4 people and is within walking distance of both shops and pubs. The Lake District National Park is also close by.
Ousby Chapel has a lovely rural feel and is close to the popular Lake District town of Penrith. This tastefully converted chapel makes a really unique base to spend your Cumbria holiday. The cottage sleeps 8 and even has it's own sauna.
